Alliance Broadband bill payment and what your bill includes
Alliance Broadband is a home internet provider that started in Kolkata and is best known in Kolkata and the towns around it. Most customers pay a monthly bill against a customer ID, and missing the due date usually means the connection pauses until you pay. This page covers how to pay an Alliance Broadband bill online, how to check that Alliance is available in your payment app, and why the amount due is higher than the plan price you signed up for. It also includes a table of common payment problems with what to do about each. We haven't listed Alliance plan prices because the figures in circulation conflict and we couldn't verify them with Alliance.

Paying your Alliance Broadband bill
Alliance Broadband Services Pvt. Ltd. appears as a broadband postpaid biller on some banks' Bharat BillPay biller lists, which means BBPS apps can fetch and pay the bill. We couldn't confirm that every BBPS network lists it, so check that it appears in the broadband list in the Subspace app before you rely on it. If it doesn't, pay through Alliance's own customer portal.
Payment apps ask for the customer ID, also called user ID in some places, printed on your Alliance bill and welcome message. Some apps also accept the registered phone number or user name.
- 1Open the Subspace app and choose Bill payments, then Broadband.
- 2Search for Alliance Broadband and select it.
- 3Enter your customer ID and fetch the bill.
- 4Check the name, amount and due date, then pay by UPI, card or net banking.
- 5Save the BBPS reference number until the payment shows in your Alliance account.
Why the amount due is higher than your plan price
Broadband plans in India are usually advertised before tax, and broadband attracts 18% GST. So a plan sold at ₹700 a month costs ₹826 once GST is added. If your bill also includes an installation charge, a router rental or a pending amount from last month, it will be higher still.
Before paying, compare the fetched amount with your plan price plus 18%. If the gap is bigger than that, check the bill breakdown in your Alliance account or ask support before you pay.

| ₹500 plan | ₹590 |
|---|---|
| ₹700 plan | ₹826 |
| ₹1,000 plan | ₹1,180 |
| ₹1,500 plan | ₹1,770 |
Common payment problems and what to do
Most payment issues fall into a few patterns. Bharat BillPay has a complaint process for payments, and the reference number on your receipt is what makes it work.
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Bill won’t fetch | Wrong customer ID or biller | Re-check the ID on your bill; make sure you picked Alliance Broadband |
| Paid, but internet still off | Confirmation pending or router needs a restart | Restart the router, then contact Alliance with the BBPS reference number |
| Money debited, bill still unpaid | Payment not yet reconciled | Raise a complaint in the app with the BBPS reference number |
| Paid the wrong account | Typo in customer ID | Raise a complaint at once and inform Alliance support |
| Charged twice | Repeat tap during a slow payment | Raise a complaint for the duplicate; don’t pay a third time |
Where Alliance operates
Alliance is strongest in Kolkata and its surrounding areas. One review says it has expanded to cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, but we didn't find a full list of serviceable areas, so ask Alliance before moving house with the connection.
If you live in Kolkata, you can also pay your CESC electricity bill on Subspace, or a WBSEDCL bill elsewhere in West Bengal. For other broadband providers, see ACT Fibernet and Netplus.
