Netplus broadband recharge and bill payment, step by step
Netplus Broadband is the internet business of the Fastway group, with most of its customers in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and neighbouring states. Whether you call it a Netplus recharge or a Netplus bill payment, the job is the same: pay your plan amount against your customer ID before the due date so the connection stays on. Netplus is listed as a biller on Bharat BillPay, so you can pay it on Subspace alongside your other bills. This page covers where Netplus operates, what to keep ready, the payment steps, and what to do if the connection doesn't come back after paying. It also covers a question worth asking at renewal: how much speed your home actually needs.

Who Netplus is and where it works
Netplus Broadband grew out of Fastway, a large cable TV operator in Punjab. Its own website describes broadband for Punjab and Chandigarh. Trade reports over the years have also placed it in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir, though the exact list has changed over time. Plans are broadly similar across Punjab and Haryana; telecom press reported that Netplus launched 1 Gbps plans in Punjab first.
Because coverage and plans vary by city, confirm availability and current prices with Netplus directly before you upgrade or move house. We don't list Netplus prices here because we couldn't verify a current official rate card.
Pay your Netplus bill on Subspace
Netplus appears as “Netplus Broadband” in the broadband list on Bharat BillPay apps, and the bill is fetched with your customer ID. Find the ID on a past Netplus invoice or in your Netplus account.
- 1Open the Subspace app and choose Bill payments, then Broadband.
- 2Search for Netplus Broadband and select it.
- 3Enter your Netplus customer ID. Check the name and amount the app fetches.
- 4Pay by UPI, card or net banking.
- 5Save the BBPS reference number shown on the receipt until Netplus shows the payment.
How much speed your household needs
Renewal is a good time to check whether you're paying for speed you don't use, or not enough. Video is usually the heaviest load. Netflix publishes the speeds it recommends for each stream, and you can add them up for the streams running at the same time in your home.
A couple watching one Full HD stream needs about 5 Mbps for it. A family running two 4K TVs and two Full HD phones at once needs about 40 Mbps for video alone, before video calls, gaming or big downloads. That's why plans of 100 Mbps and up feel smooth in busy homes even though no single device uses that much.
| Video quality | Recommended speed per stream |
|---|---|
| HD (720p) | 3 Mbps or higher |
| Full HD (1080p) | 5 Mbps or higher |
| Ultra HD (4K) | 15 Mbps or higher |
Sum of Netflix’s recommended speeds per stream. Video calls, gaming and downloads need extra headroom on top.
| 1 Full HD stream | 5 |
|---|---|
| 1 4K stream | 15 |
| 2 × 4K + 2 × Full HD | 40 |
| 4 × 4K | 60 |
If your connection doesn’t come back after paying
Once Netplus confirms the payment, an expired connection normally reactivates. If it doesn't, restart your router or ONT first. Then contact Netplus support with your customer ID and the BBPS reference number. If the money left your account but Netplus says it never arrived, raise a complaint in the Subspace app using that reference number; Bharat BillPay has a set process for tracking such payments.
To avoid gaps, pay a few days before the due date rather than on it. If you also pay for Fastway cable or other utilities, keeping them in one app makes due dates easier to track. Compare with how other operators handle bills: ACT Fibernet and BSNL Bharat Fibre.
