On 22 April 2026 Microsoft cut Game Pass Ultimate in India from ₹1,389 to ₹1,089 a month and PC Game Pass from ₹939 to ₹879. Essential and Premium were unchanged. That cut puts Ultimate closer to Premium than before, which makes it the easier pick for anyone who plays on both a console and a PC.
What three or twelve months cost

Searches for "Game Pass Ultimate 3 months" or "12 months" are really about prepaid codes: retailers, Subspace included, sell Game Pass gift cards for set durations, and you redeem them on your Microsoft account to add time. Which tier to buy, and is Game Pass worth it
- You mainly play online with friends on Xbox: Essential covers online multiplayer on console and a library of 50+ games.
- You want a big console library: Premium, at ₹699.
- You only game on a Windows PC: PC Game Pass.
- You play on both, or want the newest Xbox releases as they launch: Ultimate. Check Xbox's compare page for its current perks.
Game Pass is worth it if you play several different games a year. If you sink a year into one or two titles, buying those games outright can cost less. Don't own a console? Try one first with a gaming console on rent in Bengaluru.
