BSNL WiFi plans: Bharat Fibre speeds, data caps and prices
BSNL's home WiFi runs mostly on Bharat Fibre, its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service, sold directly and through local partners. Plans differ by circle, and BSNL's national website doesn't publish one price list, so the figures here come from a plan aggregator, checked on 1 October 2026, and are labelled as such. The range starts at ₹399 a month before 18% GST. Below you'll find speeds, fair-usage limits and what happens after you cross them. We also cover how to read a plan before you sign up and what we could and couldn't confirm about BSNL AirFiber and its newer Quantum 5G wireless service. If you already have a connection, you can pay the bill on Subspace.

Bharat Fibre plans and what they include
Each Bharat Fibre plan has three numbers that matter: the speed you get, the fair-usage limit (FUP) in GB per month, and the speed after FUP for the rest of the billing cycle. The table lists the plans an aggregator shows for most circles, with the price after 18% GST worked out for you.
Prices and plan names differ by circle. BSNL's Chennai circle tariff card from May 2024, for example, listed a "Fibre Neo" plan at ₹449 for 50 Mbps and 3,300 GB, with plans going up to ₹1,299 for 225 Mbps. Treat the table as a guide and confirm the exact plan with your circle or partner before you sign up.
| Monthly price (ex-GST) | With 18% GST | Speed | Data at full speed | Speed after limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₹399 | ₹471 | 40 Mbps | 1,400 GB | 4 Mbps |
| ₹499 | ₹589 | 60 Mbps | 3,300 GB | 4 Mbps |
| ₹599 | ₹707 | 100 Mbps | 4,000 GB | 4 Mbps |
| ₹699 | ₹825 | 100 Mbps | 4,000 GB | 4 Mbps |
| ₹799 | ₹943 | 150 Mbps | 4,000 GB | 10 Mbps |
| ₹899 | ₹1,061 | 200 Mbps | 5,000 GB | 12 Mbps |
Picking a speed for your home
Speed matters more than the data limit for most homes. Even the entry plan's 1,400 GB covers hundreds of hours of HD streaming a month. A rough guide:
- 40–60 Mbps suits one or two people streaming, browsing and on video calls.
- 100 Mbps handles a family with a couple of 4K streams and work calls at the same time.
- 150–200 Mbps helps if you download large files or games often, or run many devices.
The two 100 Mbps plans in the list share speed and data. When plans look identical, ask what else differs, such as bundled OTT apps or landline calling, before paying more. Also check the post-limit speed: the higher plans drop to 10–12 Mbps after the limit, enough for HD streaming, while the lower ones drop to 4 Mbps.

BSNL AirFiber and Quantum 5G: what we could confirm
People search for BSNL AirFiber expecting a wireless option like the ones private operators sell. We found no 2026 BSNL AirFiber tariff. An older, undated report listed AirFiber plans, but we couldn't confirm they are still offered, so we don't quote them.
What BSNL did announce is Quantum 5G FWA (Q-5G), a SIM-less fixed wireless service, soft-launched in Hyderabad on 18 June 2025. Digit reported introductory prices of ₹999 a month for 100 Mbps and ₹1,499 for 300 Mbps at that launch. We couldn't confirm its 2026 availability or prices, so ask your BSNL circle before planning around it.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest BSNL WiFi plan?
The aggregator listing we used starts at ₹399 a month before GST (about ₹471 with 18% GST) for 40 Mbps and 1,400 GB. Some circles price their entry plan differently, so confirm with your BSNL circle or partner.
Are BSNL fiber plans the same in every state?
No. BSNL tariffs vary by circle. The Chennai circle’s 2024 card, for example, used different plan names and prices from the national aggregator list.
What happens after I use up my BSNL FTTH data limit?
The connection keeps working at a lower speed until the next billing cycle: 4 Mbps on the lower plans and 10–12 Mbps on the ₹799 and ₹899 plans in the table above.
Is BSNL AirFiber available in 2026?
We couldn’t find a current BSNL AirFiber tariff. BSNL soft-launched a SIM-less Quantum 5G fixed wireless service in Hyderabad in June 2025, but its 2026 availability isn’t confirmed. Check with your circle.
Is GST included in BSNL broadband prices?
Most listings, including the one above, show prices before 18% GST. A ₹499 plan costs about ₹589 once GST is added.
How do I pay my BSNL broadband bill online?
On Subspace, open Bill payments, choose Broadband or Landline, select BSNL, enter the account or landline number from your bill, check the amount and pay. Keep the BBPS reference number.
