MSPDCL's portals ask for your Consumer ID. Manipur’s domestic tariff and the prepaid rebate
Manipur now has its own regulator, the Manipur Electricity Regulatory Commission (MnERC), which issued MSPDCL's 2026-27 tariff on 14 May 2026. Domestic rates rose from last year to ₹5.36, ₹6.25 and ₹7.10 a unit across three telescopic monthly slabs, with a fixed charge of ₹65 per kW per month. The rates already factor in the state government's subsidy.
Prepaid consumers get a 1% rebate on the tariff for paying in advance. Meter rent is charged monthly: ₹20 (single-phase) or ₹40 (three-phase) for a prepaid meter, ₹40 or ₹60 for a smart meter, and ₹10 or ₹20 for a regular postpaid meter. Postpaid bills paid late attract 2% a month simple interest.
