How to find your nearest HP, Indane or Bharat Gas agency
Every LPG connection is attached to one distributor, the “gas agency” that delivers your cylinders. To find the nearest HP Gas, Indane or Bharat Gas agency, use the oil company’s own distributor locator; they are more up to date than map listings and show official phone numbers. Subspace can’t show you local agencies: we are a bill-payment app, not a directory, and we don’t keep distributor lists. What we can do is save you some trips. Booking, paying, e-KYC and even switching to another agency can all be done without a visit. This page shows how to find a distributor, when you actually need to go, and what to carry.

Official ways to find a distributor
If you already have a connection, the quickest answer is on your last refill invoice (cash memo), which names your distributor. For a new connection or a new city, use the locators below.

What you can do without visiting the agency
Most routine tasks no longer need a trip:
- Book a refill by IVRS, missed call, WhatsApp or app. See Indane, Bharat Gas and HP Gas booking numbers.
- Pay for a refill online, including through a Bharat BillPay app such as Subspace.
- Complete e-KYC in HP Pay, HelloBPCL or IndianOil ONE. See LPG e-KYC online.
- Switch to another agency of the same company in your area, online and free (more below).
You still need the agency for a new connection, a second cylinder, surrendering a connection, or a stove and installation check.
If an agency doesn’t respond, or you have a complaint about delivery or billing, the oil companies’ toll-free LPG line is 1800-2333-555. For a leak, call 1906 at any hour; don’t wait for the agency to open.
Changing your gas agency
Unhappy with your distributor’s delivery times? You can move your connection to another distributor of the same oil company that serves your area. Log in to the company’s portal or app, pick a distributor from the list, and request the transfer. The government says there is no fee. Your current distributor may contact you; you have three days to withdraw the request, after which the connection moves automatically.
In some areas you can also choose your delivering distributor while booking a refill, from a list that shows each one’s performance rating. Indane’s locator shows a delivery-time (TDT) rating for each agency, which helps when picking one.

- 2Open the transfer or portability option.
- 3Choose a distributor from the list serving your address.
- 4Submit the request and wait three days for it to complete.
- 5Book your next refill as usual; it will come from the new distributor.
What to carry when you do visit
For a new connection, you pay two deposits at the agency on top of the first refill. PMUY connections for eligible women don’t carry a deposit. Carry your ID, address proof, a passport-size photo and, for an existing connection, your subscription voucher and the latest cash memo.

Can Subspace show LPG agencies near me?
No. Subspace is a bill-payment app and doesn’t list distributors. You can book and pay for Indane, Bharat Gas and HP Gas refills on Subspace; your own distributor delivers.
Can I change my gas agency?
Yes, to another distributor of the same oil company serving your area. Request it in the company’s app or portal. It is free, and you can withdraw within three days.
What are a gas agency’s working hours?
They vary by agency. IndianOil’s locator shows each Indane agency’s hours; the Delhi listings we checked close at 6 pm or 8 pm, so check before you go.
Where can I get an HP gas cylinder quickly?
If you have an HP Gas connection, book by IVRS on 88888 23456 or missed call on 94936 02222. Without a connection, ask a nearby distributor about smaller market-priced cylinders.
