North Bihar bijli bill: pay your NBPDCL bill on Subspace

For a North Bihar bijli bill check, open View & Pay Bill on nbpdcl.co.in and enter your CA number; the current bill appears with an option to pay. To check whether a payment reached NBPDCL, use Print Receipt (or Print Receipt by PG/Vendor for payments made through an app or gateway). If a receipt shows, the payment is recorded.

NBPDCL doesn't publish a fixed CA number length (its forms accept up to 16 characters), so copy it from your bill exactly. For a longer bill history, a BBPS app's history lists every payment with its Bharat Connect reference, and NBPDCL's offices can provide a ledger. For new-connection and other services, NBPDCL points consumers to the government SUVIDHA app.

Many NBPDCL homes now have smart prepaid meters. The two work differently, and the rebates differ too.

BERC set one rate of ₹7.42 a unit for rural (DS-I) and urban (DS-II) domestic connections in 2026-27, but the state subsidy is bigger for rural homes. A rural household pays ₹2.45 a unit for consumption above the 125 free units, plus a fixed charge of ₹40 per kW per month and electricity duty. The free units cover energy, fixed charge and duty on the first 125 units; above that, the fixed charge is billed on the higher of your recorded load or 75% of sanctioned load. Rural consumers who pay consistently also get a 1% rebate on the last quarter's bills.

For a postpaid bill, open Subspace, go to Electricity, search for North Bihar Power Distribution Company (NBPDCL), enter the CA number, check the name and amount, and pay by UPI. The payment goes to NBPDCL through Bharat Connect, and the number stays saved for next month.
