d2h recharge: what you pay for and how to top up
A d2h recharge tops up your account balance, and that balance pays for whatever pack and channels are active on your box. So before hunting for a d2h recharge plan list, it helps to know what your current pack costs and whether a cheaper mix of channels would cover what you actually watch. This page explains how d2h prices packs and single channels under TRAI's rules, including the 2024 change that lets operators discount bouquets more deeply. It also covers where to find your customer ID and channel list, and how to recharge d2h on Subspace through Bharat BillPay. We don't quote pack prices because d2h's official pack pages didn't load for verification.

How d2h prices packs and single channels
d2h follows the same TRAI framework as every DTH operator. Your monthly amount is a network capacity fee (NCF), plus the price of the pay channels or packs you choose, plus 18% GST. Since TRAI's July 2024 amendment, operators set their own NCF and publish it, instead of working under the old ₹130 and ₹160 ceilings.
The same amendment matters for packs. A pack (bouquet) bundles channels that you could also buy one by one. Operators used to be allowed a discount of at most 15% on a bouquet compared with the sum of its channels' individual prices; TRAI raised that cap to 45% for distribution platforms such as d2h. In practice, a pack can now be much cheaper than building the same list channel by channel, so compare both before you settle on a d2h recharge plan.
Illustrative. Assumes channels whose individual prices add up to ₹100. The 15% and 45% figures are TRAI’s maximum bouquet discounts for distribution platforms before and after the July 2024 amendment; actual d2h packs may use a smaller discount. NCF and GST are extra.
| Channels bought one by one | ₹100 |
|---|---|
| Pack at 15% off (old cap) | ₹85 |
| Pack at 45% off (current cap) | ₹55 |
Finding your d2h plan list and channel list
d2h assigns a customer ID (also called subscriber ID) when you buy the set-top box. Your box also has a VC number. Either one, or your registered mobile number, identifies your account.
To see the d2h channel list for your own connection, log in to the d2h website or app with your registered mobile number. Your account page shows your active pack and channels, and the pack section lets you build or change your package by adding bouquets and add-ons. The full d2h recharge plan list varies by language and region, so view it while logged in rather than relying on lists copied elsewhere. If you can't find your customer ID, check earlier recharge confirmations, which d2h sends to your registered mobile and email, or ask d2h customer care.
| Where | What you enter | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| d2h quick recharge (website) | Registered mobile, customer ID or VC number | Pick a package, pay; confirmation comes by SMS and email |
| Subspace (Bharat BillPay) | Customer ID, VC number or registered mobile | Fetches your account; keep the BBPS reference number |
| Other BBPS bank or UPI apps | Same identifiers | Same BBPS network, so the payment lands in your d2h account |
Recharge d2h on Subspace
The recharge goes through Bharat BillPay, the RBI-regulated bill network, so it is credited to your d2h account like any other channel.
- 1Open the Subspace app and choose Bill payments, then DTH.
- 2Select d2h from the operator list.
- 3Enter your customer ID, VC number or registered mobile number.
- 4Check the account name the app shows, then enter your monthly pack amount (or a multiple of it for a longer recharge).
- 5Pay and save the BBPS reference number from the receipt.
- 6Check your d2h account balance afterwards to confirm the recharge is credited.
Keeping d2h running without gaps
Most interruptions happen because the balance runs out before the next recharge. Two habits help. First, note how much your pack costs per month from your account page and recharge before the balance drops below it. Second, after you change your pack, re-check the monthly amount, because adding a channel increases it from that point on.
If you have a recharge confirmation but channels are still off, keep the box switched on for a few minutes and then contact d2h with the reference number. d2h is a brand of Dish TV India Limited and started operations in 2009; Dish TV recharges follow the same structure.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find my d2h customer ID?
It is assigned when you buy the d2h box and appears in your d2h account after you log in with your registered mobile number. Past recharge confirmations sent to your registered mobile or email are another place to look, or you can ask d2h customer care.
Where can I see the d2h channel list for my pack?
Log in to the d2h website or app with your registered mobile number and open your account or pack section. It lists the channels active on your box, which is more useful than a generic channel list.
Is there an official d2h recharge plan list with prices?
d2h shows packs and prices inside its website and app, and they vary by language and region. We couldn’t verify a national price list, so check the packs while logged in to your account.
Why does my d2h bill include NCF even for free channels?
Under TRAI’s rules NCF pays for carrying channels to your box, so it applies to free-to-air channels too. Since 2024 each operator sets its own NCF and must publish it.
Is d2h the same company as Dish TV?
d2h is a DTH brand of Dish TV India Limited, alongside Dish TV and Zing. The boxes and accounts are separate, so use the d2h biller for a d2h connection.
Can I recharge d2h for someone else?
Yes. Enter their customer ID, VC number or registered mobile number, confirm the account name shown, and pay. The recharge goes to their account.
