SonyLIV plans and prices in India, and which one to buy
SonyLIV sells two kinds of subscription in India. Mobile Only costs ₹699 a year and works only in the Android and iOS apps. LIV Premium works on TVs, laptops and phones and costs ₹399 a month or ₹1,499 a year. Every plan carries the same live sports, SET and SAB shows, five profiles and downloads. What changes is the screen you can watch on, the picture quality and how many screens can play at once. SonyLIV plans and prices right now
SonyLIV's own helpdesk lists three ways to pay. The plans differ on device, screens and quality; the catalogue is identical, so a Mobile Only member and a LIV Premium member see the same shows, films and live matches.
- Mobile Only is for people who watch on a phone and nothing else. It is sold yearly only, plays on one screen at a time and tops out at 720p HD with stereo sound.
- LIV Premium monthly unlocks smart TVs, browsers and tablets, 4K UHD where a title has it and Dolby Atmos, on a single screen.
- LIV Premium yearly has the same quality and adds a second screen at the same time, which matters if two people at home watch different things.

Monthly or yearly: what twelve months of LIV Premium costs
If you plan to keep SonyLIV for more than four or five months, buy the yearly plan. Twelve monthly payments of ₹399 come to roughly three times the ₹1,499 yearly price, and the yearly plan also gives you the second screen. Monthly makes sense only for a short burst, such as one cricket series or a single show you want to finish.
Mobile Only is cheaper still, but think about where you actually watch. If you cast to a TV or open SonyLIV on a laptop even now and then, Mobile Only will not cover it, and you will end up paying again for Premium.

What “ad-free” means on LIV Premium
SonyLIV sells Premium as ad-free, but the helpdesk lists the exceptions: sports, LIV Exclusives, reality shows (live and recorded), fiction shows and interactive features can still carry ads. In practice the ad-free promise mostly covers films and library titles.
If you are buying mainly for cricket or football, expect ad breaks on every plan. Judge the plan on screens and picture quality instead, and on whether you need to watch on a TV.
Special plans, one-day packs and “premium accounts”
Search results still mention a SonyLIV Special plan, six-month packs and one-day subscriptions. The official helpdesk lists none of these today; it shows only Mobile Only and LIV Premium. Be wary of sellers offering a cheap "SonyLIV premium account" on Telegram or marketplaces. Those are usually logins someone else controls, and they stop working without notice. Your own plan, a SonyLIV voucher, or a seat in a group where the price and rules are shown up front are all safer.
