CG bijli bill: pay your CSPDCL bill on Subspace

Every home and shop in Chhattisgarh gets its bijli bill from Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd (CSPDCL). The bill is tied to a BP (Business Partner) number, 10 digits starting with 1; some older connections still have a 7-digit BP number. With it you can view and download the bill on CSPDCL's portal or in the Mor Bijlee app, pay there, or pay through any Bharat Connect (BBPS) app, including Subspace. This page explains the BP number, what the portal and app let you do, how the domestic tariff works in Chhattisgarh, and CSPDCL's official helplines.

Your BP number

CSPDCL calls the account number on your bill the BP number. The portal checks that it's 10 digits and starts with 1; some forms still accept a legacy 7-digit BP number for older connections. It's printed near your name on the bill.

The BP number is all you need for the portal, the Mor Bijlee app and BBPS apps. If you can't find a bill, call 1912 or CSPDCL's toll-free number 1800-233-1920 with your name and address.

CSPDCL portal and the Mor Bijlee app

CSPDCL bills monthly. On its website, web.cspdcl.co.in, Quick Bill Payment works without an account: enter the BP number, verify your mobile with a one-time password, and the bill details appear with a pay button. Log in as a consumer for the rest: My Bills → Download Bills (select the bill month and click View Bill to view, print or download it) and Online Bill Payment → Online Payment Reciept/History (spelt that way on the site) for receipts.

Mor Bijlee (“my electricity”, listed as मोर बिजली on Google Play) is CSPDCL's official consumer app, linked from cspdcl.co.in/mb. It shows the last 12 months of bills and 24 months of payments, and handles online payment, complaints, name changes, NEFT/RTGS registration and smart-meter usage. A separate app from the same developer, “Mor Bijli Company”, is for staff, so install the consumer one.

Chhattisgarh’s domestic tariff from July 2026

CSERC's order of 15 June 2026 revised CSPDCL's tariffs from 1 July 2026. Domestic (LV-1) homes, including BPL, pay telescopic monthly slabs: ₹4.40 a unit for the first 100 units, ₹4.50 up to 200, ₹6.00 up to 400, ₹7.00 up to 600 and ₹8.80 beyond. The fixed charge depends on sanctioned load: ₹20 per kW per month up to 5 kW, more for bigger loads. The fuel adjustment (FPPAS) is added on top, and bills are rounded to the nearest ₹10.

A few rules worth knowing: bills above ₹5,000 must be paid online; smart prepaid consumers get a 1% rebate on the energy charge; and late payment now costs 0.04% a day on the outstanding amount (minimum ₹5) instead of a monthly rate. State government subsidy on domestic bills is applied as per its orders and shows on your bill.
