Buying gift cards in bulk: many e-gift cards, one checkout
Diwali gifts for a team, return gifts at a wedding, thank-yous for building staff: sooner or later you need a stack of gift cards, not one. On Subspace you can choose a quantity on any brand's page, mix several brands in one cart and pay once by UPI. Every card arrives with its own code in your Subspace account, ready to forward. You also get the listed discount on each card, which adds up across a batch. This guide covers how buying many cards works on Subspace, which brands suit which groups, what a batch costs, how e-gift cards compare with physical cards from a gift card shop, and how to hand out codes safely.

How buying many cards works on Subspace
This is the regular Subspace checkout; there is no separate bulk form. Larger orders simply use the quantity selector and the cart.
- 1Open a brand page from [all gift card brands](/all-brands), pick a card value and set the quantity.
- 2Add it to cart, then repeat for other brands or values. Mixing brands in one cart is fine.
- 3Pay once by UPI. Subspace wallet balance, if you have any, can be applied first.
- 4Complete the one-time KYC if the app asks. Gift cards are prepaid instruments regulated by the RBI, so issuers require it.
- 5Open Order history in your Subspace profile. Each card is listed separately with its own code, or number and PIN, and a copy button.
Picking brands for a group
When you don't know everyone's taste, choose cards that work online, allow partial use and last a year. One-time, store-only vouchers are better kept for people you know shop at that brand. If stock of one value runs out, pick a nearby value or a similar brand.
| Group | Cards that suit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Office team, mixed ages | Amazon voucher, Myntra, Tata CLiQ | Online, partial use, a year to spend |
| House help, drivers, building staff | Swiggy Money, Zomato, Amazon voucher | Everyday use, food and groceries |
| Wedding guests or return gifts | BookMyShow, PVR, KFC | Small, fun, easy to use |
| Clients and mentors | Taj Experiences, Luxe | Premium experience or brand choice |
| Kids at a birthday party | KFC, Domino's, Decathlon | Treats or sports gear |
| Festive family gifting | Westside, Lifestyle, Tanishq | Store visits and bigger purchases |
What a batch of cards costs
The listed discount applies to every card, so a batch multiplies the saving. The chart shows what ten ₹1,000 cards cost at the highest discount on each brand's page today. Discounts depend on card value and stock, and the cart shows the exact total before you pay.
For big batches, check validity as well as price. A Domino's card expires 180 days after issue, while most others last a year, so short-validity cards are best bought close to the date you hand them out.
Calculated at the highest discount listed on each brand page on Subspace at the time of writing. Actual prices depend on card value and stock.
| Amazon voucher | ₹9,810 |
|---|---|
| Myntra | ₹9,370 |
| Zomato | ₹9,400 |
| Decathlon | ₹9,410 |
| Westside | ₹8,890 |
| PVR | ₹8,220 |
E-gift cards vs physical gift cards
Searching for a "gift card shop near me" usually means you want something to hand over in person. Physical gift cards are sold by the brands themselves: Amazon, for example, sells physical gift cards in boxes, envelopes and greeting cards, and jewellers such as Tanishq sell physical cards in their stores. They take a trip or a delivery and are sold at face value.
Subspace sells digital cards only. They arrive instantly and come at a discount. To give one in person, write or print the code inside a greeting card, or slip it into an envelope with a note. Keep a copy of every code until you know it has been redeemed.
Handing out codes safely
- Send each person only their own code, in a private message or email, never in a group chat.
- Keep a simple sheet of which code went to whom, with the brand, value and expiry.
- Tell people how to redeem: a link to the brand's page on Subspace, such as Myntra or Amazon, covers the steps.
- Point anyone who asks about a balance to how to check gift card balance.
- Never share codes with someone who calls claiming to be from a brand. Codes and PINs are as good as cash.
